| Searched "psalm" and the swan picture contains Psalms 150:6 |
Most of my students have already played around with this and discovered how to do this. However, none of them have used any of the picture editing tools. Students have the following editing tools available on the website interface: crop, rotate, opacity, fade and effects. I plan on giving a brief description of what each of these tools will allow the students to do to their photos. However, I am a firm believer in learning through doing and I would love to merely see what the students produce as their final project. I am merely a navigator to steer them in the right direction.
The Tools:The opacity tool controls how much light is allowed in the picture. The fade tool allows the students to add a fade from any direction. In the picture with the rocket, I chose to fade out some of the bottom to pull the attention to the rocket. The effects tool as two categories, coloring and edges. In the Mr. Potato picture, I used both to create an antique look. The antique coloring option was selected as well as the burnt edges option.
The students will be given the freedom to make their pictures have whatever effects they desire. Can't wait to see what they can do!!
Here is a link to a sample website. I used this website to create my plan from the student's website point of view. The passwords is dogs.
